Seriously?
Need I remind you the countless 'sacrifices' made to realize Mao's dream of a China 'capable of defending herself'?
Need I remind you why some of our grandparents/parents/cousins/aunts/uncles left China for a place somewhere else in the world?
Need I remind you the Tiananmen Massacre where scores of students who protested against corruption in China(it started out as a memorial service for Hu Yao Bang) were mercilessly pulverized to death?
The Chinese people of China traded democracy for economic growth. Such a growth has been underway since 1979, and is not expected to slow down anytime soon, so shouldn't the Communist Party of China start talking about democracy(for fucks sake, it's a universal value, not Western)?
Celebrating 60 years of Communist rule?
Celebrating 60 years of Communist rule? I think not.
