"Circle of Life" is just so Nice!

Hey, it has been 3 months since we started college.

So how's your daily schedule now?

For me,

I wake up everyday around 7:15. Leaves home around 7:45, and reach college near 8.

My class ends at 2:30 or 3:30, and I need to stay back until 4:30-5:00 due to transportation problem.

I normally reach home around 5:20 after fetching my friend Lea to LRT station.

Then I'll online and forget to do any homework or project, like now.

What's your daily life like?

Meeting With Kyouyama

Everyone's a hypocrite.
I'm a hypocrite.

I can rant about the injustice of our government, their abuse of power, the corruption taking place in this country, the politicians who would take bribes and forego their principles.
Yet I am the same person perpetuating corruption, I paid the bribe to get my driving license.

I
shout and wail about the children in Africa, telling people not to waste food, to be grateful that they do not need to go hungry, and make it a point to finish the food on my plate.
Yet when I am unable to finish the food on my plate, I'd say, "Fuck the African kids."

I would complain about the uncontrollable number of illegal and legal foreign workers in this country. I see a foreign worker cooking in a hawker centre, I'd be the first to exclaim, "They are deteriorating the quality of our food!"
I see a foreign worker working as a waiter and unable to speak basic Bahasa Malaysia or English and would shout in frustration, "Bring me someone who can understand and speak properly!"
I read the newspapers about another crime committed by an Indonesian maid towards her employer, or snatch thefts, or anything of that sort, and I would curse, "Those damn illegal immigrants!"
Yet I would be the first person to complain about things being expensive, food being expensive. And since I am demanding for everything to be cheap, wouldn't businesses employ cheap labour to satisfy me?

So here I am, frustrated, unhappy, discontented, talking and not acting. Preaching hate, and not solutions.
Edward Elric of FMA used three words to sum up the human race,

Everyone's a hypocrite.

Warm Stars Heat Up The Galaxy

This has got to be the best philosophical question ever asked.
And that has got to be the best answer ever.
Picture this scenario :
You are given superhero powers, would you destroy evil(and by that he meant killing people you perceive as evil e.g. corrupt politicians, bank managers etc, making yourself a murderer)?
The girl promptly answers she would, affirming her stand that some things have to be done(like murder) to eradicate evil.(Without knowing the cost and benefit of killing 'evil' people)

Staining your hands with the blood of the corrupt ones for the greater good?

The Brickmaker Did A Fine Job Making Bricks, Until Technology Came Along

I don't get why kids these days have the tendency to have stupid dreams, like starting up a business RIGHT AFTER high school or college.

Things to note(Based on elementary level logic) :
1) To start a business, you need CAPITAL. REMEMBER THOSE WORDS. MONEY IS ESSENTIAL.
2) The only way a kid can have capital is to have parents willing to give them the money to start the business, or they would have to loan money from the bank.
3) To loan money from the bank, you will need to mortgage something. No, dumbo, not that shitty car you got for Thanksgiving. You'll only be allowed to mortgage property, something that stays in it's place, and doesn't lose value as fast as a car.
4) So what now, mortgage the house YOUR PARENTS OWN?
5) Not feeling really smart anymore eh?

No money, no talk.

My Associate Died Of Popcorn Allergy

Most of us have siblings no?

Yes, we have the occasional fight, but they're all you've got.
Live with it.
Most of us come to appreciate them once we're much older.
I think the relationship just reaches a new level of understanding and all that lovey-dovey crap we see on TV when we're older and when we're much further apart.

Those who have already learnt to appreciate them(Me), good for you.
Those who have not, you'll see!

This is a superb movie you can watch online here.
Needless to say, you will be bombarded with brotherly love.
So powerful man.

She No Longer Exists In The World I Breathe In

So our term break is over, and what did you do during that one week period of holidays?
Something productive, I presume?

To me, something productive means picking up a book to read, exploring your area with a bicycle, star-gazing, taking up a sport, learning photography, etc.
All the enriching stuff.

But to use your holidays to study?
What bullshit.

There's a reason it is called holidays, it's a time for relaxation, reflecting on life, doing the things you want to do.(OH I KNOW, cliche)
And that's exactly the problem with this mentality we Malaysians and Singaporeans(in fact, the whole of Asia) share.
Holiday = More time to study
But it should be,
Holiday = Self enrichment

Even the ducks know it. Holidays is a time for us to discover new things.

The Invisible Pink Unicorn vs. The Flying Spaghetti Monster

Time is creeping by, and I am beginning to feel as strongly as ever that school is a complete waste of my time.
What say you?

This is our last year in high school, after that it's the real world.
College -> University -> Work -> Family
How many of us will be able to succeed in life? How many of us will be able to look back and say that he/she has climbed high up the social ladder?

The reality is, many will continue to live from hand to mouth, others might just crash and burn, and a small, very small percentage will be up at the top, above all their peers.
The world is but a place where
The strong devours the weak,
Yang kuat baham yang lemah,
弱肉强食。

I wish we can live on without such worries, ignorant of the world's atrocities.
But that is not the case, as we draw closer to the biggest exam of high school, one cannot help but stop and think, "If only life was much more forgiving to allow us to live an endless childhood."

What are you looking at right now?
