Pawned

A country that is improving has a stable government system, a good society, safe, and last but not least citizens who think a lot, competitive, and positive minded.

Oh yes, positive minded citizens who would only seek improvement and not wait for others to act for them.

For somebody in my class who does not want to sign the petition regarding complaints and solutions to improve the school, I do not use force or say anything about it. It is a matter of personal choice whether the person agrees or disagrees. However, for those who SIT DOWN ON YOUR ASS AND DO NOTHING TO HELP IMPROVE THE SITUATION BUT BICKER AND OPPOSE OUR MOTION, this is the type of people that this country does not need if Malaysia wants to improve.

When you have a chance of reaping success but you have a negative mindset, the chance of getting any success is 0. But, if you stick to your principles, give the chance your best shot, you will be awarded with a miracle.

We must always believe and give hope to ourselves if we want to achieve some goals. Look at the recent Malaysia XI vs Chelsea. The Malaysian keeper Helmi made some brilliant saves to deny a whitewash for that match. The Malaysian strikers even had a few shots(although they are not up to standard), testing Chelsea's defense, hoping that one of those will fly into the net. The chance in small, a country which have a FIFA ranking of 160+ vs an English Premier League, Carling Cup, European Champions League runners up. Everyone wondered whether if they were able to last the whole 90 minutes let alone getting a draw or losing by 5-0. BUT, they fought tooth and nail, by giving themselves a bit of hope and finally conceded only 2 goals which was a magnificent result because Malaysia doesn't even have a fully professional league and youth academies like in Europe.

Hope is very important
. For 40 years, Lim Kit Siang hoped that one day Barisan Nasional will fall. Did he say no at the first minute? Hell no, he continued to fight for our rights for 40 years, got humiliated by the government many times, yet, he still harboured a glimmer of hope.

When you hope and sacrifice yourself, your dream will come true one day. I just hope the reader will realize that a negative mindset will never bear positive results in return.
