When Oysters Meet Coke

It's Independence Day and you don't feel the patriotic mood at all.
Most of us are going about our lives just like any other day.

There is a dreaded categorization in Malaysia, the people of Malaysia are divided into:
1) Bumiputras(sons of the soil)
2) Non-bumiputras(those who aren't sons of the soil =/)

I think most of us third generation(or whatever generation you may be)Non-bumiputras are very confused about our identity.
Our government does not recognize us as sons of this land(or soil =.=), which generations of our family have been born in.

So what are we?

One only hopes for acknowledgment.

M stands for Martyrdom

First, Happy Birthday to Mr Ooi Tuan Hann. You turn 17 today as our country turns 51. Best wishes to you, not the country. >=)

Anyways, Merdeka. I don't know about you, but do you feel any what patriotic? To me, it's just only any typical sunday where you just laze around at home, taking a well-deserved break from your hectic week.

Go to Dataran Merdeka and watch sub-standard performances? Wave mini M'sia flags? Sing the national anthem which sounds so suspiciously familiar to an old song?

I think not. 'cause i have no feelings for this country. Technically, this isn't even MY country.

and because of that, the Goverment decided to 'kena' us by throwing our little ugly butts into NS. Thank you Malaysia. We 'love' you for that. Pfft.

White Shoes On The Rooftop

Malaysia was just celebrating 51 years of Independence a few moments ago.
The celebration is held in Dataran Merdeka every year and can be seen on TV.
When I tuned into the channel showing a LIVE telecast, the countdown started.
And then they started singing a bunch of songs, some I don't even know about.

Malaysians have been urged to wave our flag today, as it is a patriotic thing to do.
If I decide not to, does that make me less patriotic than the guy waving that flag frantically during the celebrations?

This is a time for reflection.
Stay on as a Malaysian citizen till death?
Or get out of here as soon as possible?

I've said this time and again,
You can hate the government, but it's impossible to hate your country.
Happy Independence Day.

My Dog Hides Inside My Bag

I officially launch my new blog, Perspektive.

Actually, I've created this Wordpress blog long time ago (when I was writing in AUMNO), but I just don't seem to use it. It's quite different from blogspot, and I admit, need some time to get used to it. But Wordpress is a better blogging platform in my opinion.

The word 'Perspektive' connotes something- it's all about my opinions. While 'Visione' represents my views, 'Perspektive' only shows my perspectives. So you know what's the blog about.

And yeah, I've linked everyone of you there too.

"This blog is all about my perspectives, thoughts, and views on various matters especially controversial issues, religion, and science"

My Associate Died Of Popcorn Allergy

Most of us have siblings no?

Yes, we have the occasional fight, but they're all you've got.
Live with it.
Most of us come to appreciate them once we're much older.
I think the relationship just reaches a new level of understanding and all that lovey-dovey crap we see on TV when we're older and when we're much further apart.

Those who have already learnt to appreciate them(Me), good for you.
Those who have not, you'll see!

This is a superb movie you can watch online here.
Needless to say, you will be bombarded with brotherly love.
So powerful man.

Lala, Lala, Lala...

I'm addicted to blogging. Really addicted.

I just can't stop my hands from navigating me to my blogger (now with WORDPRESS- I got a total of 7 blogs now- each with content) homepage, click on the 'create post' link, and start pouring anything contained in my mind at that moment. Then, it's one magic button (publish post) to fulfill my lust of blogging (temporarily).

So this post is just another product.

I blog out my thoughts, and you're my audiences.

The Seemingly Weak Are Brave And Emotionally Strong

The Permatang Pauh by elections are now over, and the results are official.

Final Score -
Anwar Ibrahim > 31,195 votes
Arif Shah Omar Shah > 15,524 votes

The third candidate, we can neglect, because he is irrelevant. A mere 92 votes, his name not even worth mentioning.

What I really want to talk about, is all the rife that's been going on about how this BN candidate, Arif Shah Omar Shah is fluent in Mandarin.

I'm not even going to apologize for putting this up(see image below), some people may argue, the fact that he knows even that amount of Mandarin is praise-worthy.
Well, the amount of Bahasa Malaysia I know should earn me a place in The Malaysian Book of Records.
Granted, he took the bother to pick up Mandarin during his schooling days(this is disputable! He grew up in a Chinese area, what do you expect?), but does that mean he can serve the community better than a person who can't speak Mandarin?
Bull.

I have the original picture, which was taken from a newspaper online. So don't go saying that it's all edited.

* Kudos to L-Y for finding this pic, it definitely was not easy.
* Just so you know,
should be 们。

I can ride my bike with no handlebars

Well well well...

Seems that Anwar's gonna PAWN BN huh?

Nothing much to say, Keenen and IanB have much better insight on this issue. As usual, i am ignorant and apathethic towards our country's politics. It's just total fuck-up.All i can say is, Good Luck to Anwar.

And to BN....

....i know what you're thinking.

Fish & Chips

I wonder why KLCC has started to be infested with oysters( LALA )
It is because Wang River is overflowing due to the good rainy weather.
I wonder is there anything regarding oysters that you can shop for in KLCC
Just wondering and wondering.
It just doesn't look good.
If you see any of them there,
please say loudly: OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!
They will look at you,
give them a stern look.
Respect and preserve our local chinese culture,
not swimming in the rivers with oyster fashion all over the place.

She No Longer Exists In The World I Breathe In

So our term break is over, and what did you do during that one week period of holidays?
Something productive, I presume?

To me, something productive means picking up a book to read, exploring your area with a bicycle, star-gazing, taking up a sport, learning photography, etc.
All the enriching stuff.

But to use your holidays to study?
What bullshit.

There's a reason it is called holidays, it's a time for relaxation, reflecting on life, doing the things you want to do.(OH I KNOW, cliche)
And that's exactly the problem with this mentality we Malaysians and Singaporeans(in fact, the whole of Asia) share.
Holiday = More time to study
But it should be,
Holiday = Self enrichment

Even the ducks know it. Holidays is a time for us to discover new things.

Father Calling

Whenever you do something, good or bad, there'll be criticisms. Either it's because of what you did is bad, or it's the jealousy of certain people that drove them to take this course.

China is the victim of the latter here.

Fuck those pro-western anti-China critics that shout and bark blindly, brainlessly. Are they humans? No. They are homo Erectus, predecessor of us, homo Sapiens. And to those people noobshits who criticized Liu Xiang for not being able to compete- you're another example of living homo Erectus. Please, evolve. And why is everyone focusing on China's scandals but not of other countries? USA? (There ARE many scandals, just that people are not paying attention to it. And some cheap, crappy websites are trying to enrage the fire of China's scandals)

Fuck them. Just fuck them. Brainless nuts.

Hey, she's so cute! Lol.

* We're fine with all the criticism, so as long it comes with proof and has truth in it, but why, why attack those innocently involved in the 'scandals'?

Tuition Later

Another wonder in the Olympic Games: USAIN BOLT.

Won 3 gold medals and broke 3 world records, he is the 'Phelps in land' (or Phelps is 'Bolt in water', vice versa). In fact, I watched the 100m race(live) accidentally (I just simply switch between channels and suddenly, wow, it's the 100m men's sprint final)- and he even gave handicap to his rivals! (By means of early celebration on the last 20m)

'THUNDER' BOLT!

Running with his left shoe untied, and yet he broke the world record. And yeah, his gold shoes are amazing.

The Junbao Makes Fingers Pain

Lee Chong Wei who has already received his money of RM300, 000 and a lifetime pension of Rm3000 a month, is set to receive a Datukship from Penang.

I feel strongly against awarding him the money, what more giving him a Datukship.

Here's my case :
1) Our badminton players who have been awarded heavily in the past, such as Rashid Sidek, Foo Kok Keong and many more have ended up as bankrupts.
2) Our Previous Prime Minister has mentioned that we SHOULD NOT spoil our players.
3) The most recent example would be Hafiz Hashim, who won the singles title in the All-England, then gained belly fat, then failed to qualify for the Olympics.
4) Let's face it, which youth in Malaysia actually look up to Datuks nowadays? As far as we're concerned, Datukships can be bought. Our mentality, Datuk = fat, cigar smoking, corrupted bastard.

Based on the past, it is not wrong to say that Chong Wei just might end up like them. Instead, he should be a real man, and say No, to these things.

The Hopper of The Grass In Pretty Shire

As we draw closer to the end of the Olympics, throughout the 14 days, a star has been born and hailed as the Greatest Olympian Ever(whether or not he deserves that title...).

Yes, he has 8 gold medals to his name and a total of 11 Olympic medals.
But to me, the Greatest Olympian title should only given to people who have been able to consistently perform well in the Olympics.

That being said, if he ever performs like this in the next Olympics, he would deserve the title indeed.

With that, I present you,

PHELPS SIAYAMAN

* I am unable to credit this as I do not know who made this.
So whoever it is, my apologies.

Beethoven's Violin Concerto Op.61

The Sour Taste Of Defeat Ravaged My Virgin Body

Dear Pete :

Avril Lavigne's Concert has been cancelled :
And please take time to watch this video :
Maybe you can take some time to see what Malaysian Youths have said :

Many reasons were given.
Among them :
Her being too sexy
This is a month to be patriotic
Punk and rock is not suitable for youths

I'm not gonna tell you how stupid or wrong the reasons were. (Because I know you know)
In fact, I was wondering how they came to this decision.
First there was Galaxy assuring us the concert was still on.
Then later Unity, Culture, Arts and Heritage Minister Shafie Apdal said BOH LIAO. NO more. Tak de.

I was quite taken aback frankly speaking because the last concert I attended late last year by My Chemical Romance was definitely not in line with all the regulations drafted by the government.
Shouting, jumping, swearing, everything against the so called regulations PUN ADA.

So I thought and thought, and came to the conclusion that it was the PAS Youth hooligans that brought about the cancellation.
Shafie Apdal may deny it, but if it weren't for PAS Youth boys, would this have happened?
I'd like to know what's going on in the minds of the PAS Youth bunch. And I was hoping if you knew. (I value your opinion on a number of things, mainly politics, I'm guessing your opinion on this matter will be no less valuable.)
They've protested many times, even managed to bring about the cancellation of a concert by a local artist.
Maybe you can make a documentary and title it, "Inside The PAS Youth".

Disposing all formalities, I would like to end my email with one word :
Fuck.

From,
I-should-have-spent-my-17-years-of-life-in-a-better-country

Eh, PAS Youth Wilayah Chief, you too sexy for me la

* I wrote this to the webmaster of Malaysia Today
But wonder if I got the right email
* For your info, I've already paid the RM338 for my ticket, that's why I'm so sad

My camera can make birds swim.

I'm just doing this to annoy Keenen. How dare he score an A for Chinese in PMR while i have to be content with a B?

Life ain't fair i tell you. FYI, i scored higher than him.....by 4 marks....

Some people just have this kind of eccentric behaviour, they collect things that are, well...eccentric.

I happen to be one, always picking up all sorts of junk from anywhere for my soon-to-be next plan for world domination...

Maybe some of you do that too... you're just too shy to admit...

Well, I shall show off one of these eccentric collections of mine...

Here, we have a PILOT cardboard pen case... (IMHO, PILOT RULES!!!)

Guess what's in it? (Hint: Think world domination, like me)
...
...
...
Nope, it's not a mini thermonuclear device like what you probably think it is...
...
...
...
...

It's also definitely not a pen... genius... (Though pens are a very vital instrument in world domination)
...
...
...
...
...
It's actually chock-full of...... CHS examination paper strings!!!!

HAHA!!! Yes! Exactly the ones which you always fumble with during the last 5 minutes of exam!!!
5 years worth of exam strings are here in this little blue box!!!

Yellow, Light Pink, Dark Pink, Light Blue, Dark Blue, White, Dark White....all sorts
.
.
.
.
.
Ok ok, i was joking about dark white...

What can they be used for? Well use your imagination....

They'll come in handy when...say... you wanna grow yourself a rainbow coloured beard?

See? Useful right? Who knows? The next big thing just could be rainbow coloured beards....

NOW you know where the left over exam strings went eh?

Kokocrunch Grew On The Villian's Ass

Chong Wei's voyage in the Olympics could only be described as :
为山九仞, 功亏一篑.

As for his future :
往者不可谏, 来者犹可追.

And of course, his career :
人固有一死, 或重于泰山, 或轻于鸿毛.

Yes.
It was so near yet so far.
Yes.
There is still a chance for him to make up for past mistakes.
Yes.
He can end his career as one of the best badminton player ever.

But of course, he must remember :
You reap what you sow.

It is up to him, whether or not for this day onwards, he will put in much more effort, much more determination, in the one thing he knows best : Badminton.

The sky's the limit.

Cuckoo Clocks Sound The End

Chong Wei hit an easy high ball.
Lin Dan went for a big smash to his fore hand.
Chong Wei retrieved it, but it feel short, hitting the net.
All was lost, Malaysia will not win it's first Gold today.

We were silent, only the father of my sister stood standing, cheering, jeering, laughing at us.
You could see that it was inevitable.
After a poor show in the first game, and then giving the first 8 points of the second game to Lin Dan, it wasn't going well for Chong Wei.

Final score : 21-12, 21-8
I still standby my view that both players are technically the same, they are equally good, and as you can see, Chong Wei has excellent defense. But the finals is not the time to showcase your defense, but being outright aggressive and smart playing wins you the game.

I think a few factors contributed to Chong Wei's lost :
1) Overwhelming support for Lin Dan and the fact that this is a badminton court he is so used to
2) Lin Dan's high spirits, it was clearly there, and his aggressiveness, time and again, he did a drop shot, Chong Wei gave a weak return, allowing Lin Dan to smash it cross court
3) Chong Wei bowed down to pressure many times, and this led to many mistakes made by him, especially hitting shots that were wide to the back of the court

Lee Chong Wei has lost. I am sad. Very Sad. We all hoped for a better outing, but unfortunately it wasn't so, Lin Dan was in control most of the time. The consolation is that this is Malaysia's first medal in 12 years. (Confirmed)

Lin Dan is 25. Chong Wei is 26. Will Chong Wei ever have a chance again in the next Olympics? unlikely so, badminton players lose their steam once they reach 30.
Example : Wong Chong Hann

* An honest analysis, worth reading, except its in Mandarin, really small Mandarin characters. -.-

When the Moon becomes a crunchy chocolate bar

I shall not blog about the Olympic Badminton Men Finals.

I shall let Keenen do the honours. All yours my friend.

The Jigglypuff of Mount. Doom Signalled The Death Of The Unicorns

Back to the Lala phenomenon again.

We all know that Lalas have established their own internet lingo.
orhx, muacks, XD, lolx is what they have in their vocabulary. There's more to it, of course.

Notice that the Lalas add an X to every word they type.
For example :
fuckx youx
makex lovex
hehex
lorx
and so on.

Therefore, it is very simple to identify a Lala. Just see how they type.
Do you type like a Lala?

If you do, you are in danger of being eaten up by the Lalas, just like this poor kitten.

* It's total bullshit, sure Lalas use orhx and XD, but they certainly don't put an X after every word.
* Also, thanks Ian, for FINALLY deciding to join us.
* How do people even type like this : BEEDEO NO RONGER ABAILABEL!!!
Respect.

I don't have Sex with A Bench

What is the ratio of pretty girls: not pretty girls in Malaysia?

It's 1:30, roughly. If neglect the M's, it's 1:20. Neglect the I's, it's 1:10. Neglect the C's, it's 1:1. Neglect foreign workers, 1:0. Europeans, Middle Easterns.

What about the ratio in Europe?

It's around 1:3. Include cuteness as a factor, 1:2. Include sweetness, 1:1. Include femine quality, 1:0. Include knowledge, erm... 0:100000.

Haha, just kidding.

Steamin' hot!

NS Pwns Us All

We all love China. Don't ya agree?

IF YOU DON'T AGREE WITH ME I'M GOING TO BLOODY KILL YOU!!!!!

Beijing Olympics was proven to be a great success. Bravo! Imagine the pride we have! I'm really proud to be a Chinese!

BUT, there are some bloody brainless noob shits who don't approve the effort of China and in turn criticize the opening ceremony as "hollow" and "boring". Don't you feel like slaying them into pieces? For God's sake they don't even deserve to be Chinese. SHAME ON THEM. They're a disgrace and humiliation to us!

Hope someone may remove these garbages from the society.

We're more like China's Chinese than Malaysia's Chinese.

Also, do listen to China's national anthem! It boosts your morale!

Wars Were Fought, Men Have Died, What Have We Learnt?

I am a fragile weak being who succumbs to his ever-lasting drive to seek and desire upon 'hot' women. And it has come to my attention, that most of these 'hot women' are actually 'child actresses'.

Dakota Fanning
I've seen quite a few films by her, but 'I am Sam' was in my humble opinion, her best performance. Watched it on a plane, cried like a pitiful homeless child, the man sitting beside me drew backwards.

Suzuka Ohgo
I've only seen her in 'Memoirs of a Geisha' but she did her role perfectly, screen time was short, but she managed to portray the child perfectly, innocent, cheerful, sad, everything.

Moon Geun-young
Starred in 'Innocent Steps' and as a blind girl in 'Love Me Not'. Some of you might remember her from 'A Tale of Two Sisters'. 21 years old, not young, but not old either, she is simply breathtaking. One can be easily moved by her acting, 'Innocent Steps' brings me to tears EVERY SINGLE TIME I watch it.

Saoirse Ronan
She was in 'Atonement' and most recently, 'Death Defying Acts'. She is set to be in 'City of Ember' coming out later this year. She was great in the two movies I've seen her in, what can I say? Go watch them yourselves.

I have only one question : How do you pronounce Saoirse?
*Now I know, click here
.

Pat on the back for all of them, they bring joy to life. =D

Going to My Grave

Sometimes I just want to fuck the whole system upside down, inside out, left side right. Fuck it. Fuck Najis. Fuck.

You know what is NS?
It means 'Najis Sucks'.

Screw.

Why am I the lucky one?

Because fuck, Najis sucks.

Darkness behind smiles

*In fact, NS is a useless National Service program introduced in Malaysia, the penis of Asia. It offers a 3 month jailing program for certain randomly(God chooses it) chosen victims from form 5 of our secondary school. Every year there MUST be deaths and rape cases in this program. Great, now I'm risking myself.
*Najis refers to Najib, a man of controversy.

Hurrah for Martyrdom, Pessimism is Under Attack

People fear all kinds of things :
Creepy crawly disgusting insects
Darkness
Dismembered body parts
Blood
Clowns
The swifting sound the fan makes when its horsepower is put to 5
ME
and what not.

How do we overcome fear? Bruce Lee hung dead cockroaches around his neck to eliminate his fear for them. So does that mean to overcome fear, we embrace it?

To me, psychological fear is the best fear tool.
Fear is for the weak avatar
To this day, after trying to eliminate my fear by watching this .gif file many times, I am still disturbed by it.

Now, there are more than a gazillion types of food in the whole wide sadistic world.
But then, HOW MANY of these makes you wanna go....
Behold....

....THE DREADED ORANGE-PEEL!!!

not your typical orange peel you peel from your typical orange. It's those orange peel that people go ferment and coat it with insane amount of sugar just to cover up its horrid taste. Keenen had the misfortune of tasting one during one of our chemistry tuition class.

To quote him:

Torrential Rains Killed My Cow

Malaysia has three types of schools -
1) Public Schools (anyone can attend, no fees for education except the occasional Parent Teacher Association fund)
2) Private Schools (high fees, for better facilities, teachers are generally the same 'standard' as public school teachers)
3) International Schools (good education + dedicated teachers, a sure win, but expensive)

Us, from the public schools, generally view private school students as snobs who have filthy rich parents who pamper them, putting it shortly, we show hatred towards them, and not much respect too, they are thought to be stupid and selfish.

As for international school students, we don't put much thought into them, other than them being ang moh-fied kids.

Yes, I know it's not good to apply such stereotypes, but what can we do? We were given this mentality ever since there was such diversity in the schooling system.

I wonder what they think of us?
